Following Split From Apple’s iOS, YouTube Releases Its Own App

YouTube released its very own standalone iPhone app Tuesday, just in time for the YouTube-less launch of iOS 6. The app is a major improvement over the YouTube app that has been integrated into iOS since Apple launched the iPhone. It features a slick new interface, thousands of new videos, and better discovery and sharing options.
